Now, we're taking that commitment one step further.
From this July, local deliveries placed through our website now support verified carbon removal through the restoration of UAE mangrove ecosystems.
In partnership with our fulfilment provider, Quiqup, every eligible delivery contributes to the removal of 1.487 kg of CO₂e, helping make the journey from our warehouse to your doorstep part of a more climate-conscious shopping experience.
Why Mangroves?
Mangroves are among the world's most valuable natural ecosystems.
Not only do they capture and store significant amounts of carbon, but they also help protect coastlines, support biodiversity and create healthier coastal environments.
The projects supported through this programme contribute to the restoration of mangrove habitats across the UAE, including areas linked to Jubail Island and Al Zorah Nature Reserve, Ajman.
By supporting local restoration initiatives, we're able to invest in positive environmental impact closer to home.
What does 1.487 kg of CO₂e mean?
Every eligible delivery supports the verified removal of 1.487 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) through mangrove restoration projects.
This doesn't mean your delivery creates zero emissions. Instead, it means that each eligible order contributes towards projects that remove an equivalent amount of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere through verified nature-based solutions.
It's one more way we're reducing our impact - beyond the products themselves.
